This phone is soft alright – the “music” is sooooo soft that it’s barely audible. Not what I had hoped for from Vtech.

We got this phone for our baby to give her in place of our phone. We were afraid she would figure out how to call China.
She likes the lights and sounds and plays with it all of the time. Sounds are soft, don’t drive me and Dad crazy. HOORAY!

This toy was also a gift. My son loved it at 6 months and still loves it at 16 months. It can get a little annoying when the child presses the same button over and over, but it is easy for him to use, and he enjoys it. There is a volume control button on the back, so for those who think it is too loud, it can be turned down. My child has never been startled by it as the other person experienced. It is a fun, well built toy. I recommend it.

My two year old daughter loves this phone and has for at least a year – she will pretend to talk on it and gets delighted when she pushes a button and it talks and sings to her. I love the fact it has a volume control.It doesn’t keep her attention for an incredibly long time, but I wouldn’t expect it to. Definitely a fun and inexpensive toy.
