This game follows the Cars Movie almost completely. If you have a “Cars” Fan in your midst this is a great game. It is directed towards younger children.
This game, as the others for the VSmile are, is will made and has stood the test of time among my household of three young children. My 9 year old will still play with it once in a while but it is a bit young for him.
The only note I’d made is that VSmile is sold as an educational toy and the games that go with it are supposed to be as well. I’m not convinced that any part of this system is overly educational. This game is more like a review for skills that have already been learned rather than a way to teach new things to your child. That is my experience at least.
Enjoy.

The Vteck V.Smile Smartridge Cars was my grandson’s Christmas gift. It arrived in a timely fashion and has proven to be one of his favorite gifts.

My 4yr old daughter finds this game very boring. She hardly ever picks it out to play. When I have sat down to play it with her I have found it quite boring as well. Maybe it is more suited for a boy.

This game is heavily developed based on the actual movie. If you haven’t seen the movie, and/or your kid was too young to understand the plot, then they might not get the game.
Most of the adventures are based on the story plot. A lot of the adventures are a bit dumb, like McQueen bumping alphabet tires into a truck, McQueen tipping over the tractors based on counting smoke rings, McQueen herding the tractors back into the pen, McQueen driving down a long road and picking up shapes, McQueen driving down a road looking for Mack based on memory, McQueen dodging the firetruck water blast, etc. The only adventure I liked was the forklift picking up tire numbers (odd vs. even) and installing them on the race car.
Don’t buy this game unless your kid is obsessed with Cars.

This is a good game for kids to learn from but you must be willing to help them uderstand what they are to do.
