My 15 month old rarely keeps interest in anything for more than 30 seconds. However, when he opened up the Vtech Helicopter at Christmas, he was immediately drawn to it, and it kept his attention for quite some time. He loves all the different songs and noises he can make by pressing different parts. (I have all of the songs memorized, and then some.) Now, three weeks after Christmas, he is still playing with it for REALLY long periods of time!! Definitely recommended for 1 year olds!!!

I rate this toy Five Stars after we’ve watched our (eleven months old) baby girl play with it for two months. She never gets bored with this helicopter. Also I’ve seen this toy dropped 4 ft onto concrete floor without any damage. Main reason this toy is a hit are the four balls. Kids may tire of the noise-making buttons on toy, but they keep playing with the small (baby’s hand-sized) balls for months and months. Our young baby first learned to play catch at nine months with these balls, then learned how put them into the top of helicopter to hear the sounds it makes. This toy can call out the color and the number as each ball is dropped into its top.
Highly recommended!

One of my daughter’s favorite toys. We bought it when she was 10 months old and she has been playing with it every day for almost 2 months – we use it as entertainment at dinnertime. She loves the toy so much that “helicopter” is one of her first spoken words; she calls it “E-ka” and grins. The balls keep her ( and the parents) busy, she loves to shove them into the propeller and dance to the songs. This ‘copter is a veteran in our house, it has fallen from the highchair tray many times and is perpetually covered in oatmeal.
It is so engaging that she has already learned to say several words from it – helicopter, ball, up (the bird flies UP-UP in the sky …)

My daughter just turned one and she absolutely loves this toy. I like that it has educational value as well, and teaches early counting, letters, etc. She’s been using it for about four months now, and it has held up very well, which is another plus. Overall, great toy!

My son as well as other children that come over gravitate to this fun toy.
It plays lots of familiar toddler songs and teaches basic things like counting and shapes. Great toy for 1 yr old and up with volume control:)!
